Welcome
to Celebration of Life, Colorado
Vision
I believe that everyone deserves to die with dignity, clarity, and peace of mind. That's why I'm dedicated to empowering individuals and families to navigate end-of-life experiences in a way that is meaningful and respectful of their wishes. Through innovative solutions, I want to address knowledge gaps, encourage proactive planning, and promote sustainable practices that care for both our loved ones and the planet. Together, we can create a world where death is seen not as something to be feared, but as a natural part of life that can be approached with grace and understanding.
About Christina
I am an Event & Meeting Planner that has worked in various industries: from medical devices, diabetes, nurse associations, and government programs; to weddings, golf tournaments, and ski associations. I have also enjoyed freelancing and starting my own event planning business. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management.

It wasn’t until both of my grandmas passed away within six weeks of each other that I witnessed the pain and process of what a family goes through during this difficult time. I watched as decisions were made that not all agreed with. I observed many indecisive choices come to play that were, at times, heartbreaking. While I know everyone believed they had our grandma’s best wishes at heart, many either forgot the desires that were expressed or completely overlooked them because they felt certain aspects of the funeral and planning were necessary and traditional. Simply put, the entire experience was draining.

In the process of watching my family go through their own grief; I noticed the endless choices, the differences between what should or should not happen, the service itself, which prayer, the eulogy, who would carry the casket, the wake, what food should be served…were all just adding more chaos and unpleasant emotions for all. Everything was being lumped together. The funeral service was to memorialize their death…but what about the celebration of their Life?!

I realized that there truly was a need for these services to be available, because for those that did exist…there were not many options from which to choose. From then on, I wrote down ideas, journaling, creating; thinking all the time, “what can I do to help families?”. For the next seven years I kept dreaming of this business. One where I can help relieve the burden from the family and they can return to the celebration of their loved one rather than stressing out about all the other stuff. I wanted to be of service to others. I wanted to bring to life what they truly felt about the person they loved so much, where they could share and tell stories.
In 2021, I finally decided this was the time to follow my calling and start this business, and I created Celebration of Life, Colorado. My mission is simple: to reduce the burden, allow time for mourning, and properly share the life and journey of our loved ones. It would be an honor to create such a memorable celebration with you during this precious time in your life.
The Small Details
Let me help you showcase your loved one’s unique personality and experiences; and honor them by sharing memories, laughing about the good times, while connecting with other family members and guests. We share favorite music, poems, colors, things they liked to do, places they liked to visit, and truly get a closer snapshot of your loved one’s life. Let all of those who loved them walk away feeling that a special place in their heart was touched and they will never forget the experience, as they mourn and are able to come to peace as well.
